AT Campine we have been producing antimony trioxide (ATO) in various compositions, packaging and custom formulations since 1924.

We use the antimony trioxide, among other things, in our flame retardant masterbatches. These are based on different polymers (e.g. PE, EVA, PP, PBT, PA, SAN, HIPS, etc. ), with different compositions, granule size and ATO-dispersions based on different plasticizers. In this way, we create flame retardant solutions for a wide range of applications.

Campine @ the AMI PVC-Formulation

In 2016, Campine started preparing for offering a new antimony trioxide monobatch based on PVC. Campine is expanding its product portfolio further with this monobatch. The PVC monobatch is offered in micro granulates.

Last year, a new installation for processing PVC into monobatch was built at Campine. In 2018 and 2019 we were happy to introduce our new monobatch to the market. We did this at the AMI PVC formulation conference in Cologne.

Campine @ the AMI PVC-Formulation

The major advantage of working with granules and PVC microgranules is the dust-free dosing of these granules in your installation.

The pre-dispersion in the polymer gives another advantage: a smooth dispersion in the PVC formulation itself. Due to its unique formulation, the Campine PVC 1706518 product has a clear advantage herein in comparison with other micro granules.PVC micro granules are the solution to work dust-free in the powder-feeding system of PVC installations.
